If you don’t like bad quality video of fireworks, don’t even bother looking at this video 
I tested the video function of my Canon PowerShot A590 IS by filming the fireworks at midnight here in my hometown. I tried to edit out as much of camera movement and dark sky as possible. Notice the fire truck near the end of the video. It was on its way back to the station. Remember that this was just after midnight, and it was already on its way back. Damn drunks around here that can’t handle fireworks and start shooting early…

UFO’s over Aldershot New Years Eve 2009/2010?
Just before midnight New Years Eve 2009 in Aldershot, Hampshire UK, we went outside because we heard fireworks going off and saw this strange orange light in the sky. Excuse my language at the start of the clip but it was a strange sight. After midnight probably half a dozen more appeared! About 40 seconds in on the footage a friend says they could be chinese lanterns which is the most likely explaination, it was cool to see all the same and can’t be sure it was lanterns until someone says they sent some up on the night!
